Imaginary Friends in a Physical Form (plus an awesome giveaway!)

Imaginary Friends by Melanie LeeSo, as you may remember from my contribution to the writing process blog tour, my old primary school chum, Melanie Lee, has published a fun collection of short stories called ‘Imaginary Friends: 26 Fables for the Kid in Us‘ (you can read my review of the e-book here).
This book has recently been released in a print version, fearfully and wonderfully illustrated by Arif Rafhan Othman, a Malaysian artist, and I could not be more excited about it!

Melanie is going to be making some public appearances at MPH bookstores during this June school holiday!

You can find her at:
Sat, 14 June, 1.30pm – MPH Raffles City

Sat, 28 June, 12.30pm – MPH Parkway Parade

This is a great opportunity to meet her and ask her all the questions as well as get her to autograph a copy of her new book!
Here’s a little video of what you can expect:

  1. I think I had a teddy bear friend who could talk. Vaguely remember it was a Care Bear Love-a-lot Bear. This same bear is now with my daughter and she talks to her too… 30 years of imagination Wowee…

  2. Hi Olimomok, I think you’re friends with my husband right? 🙂 I still think D’s lego toys come alive at night because they always are in different locations (either that or my boy has been shifting them around).m
